Specialising in interior and exterior selections for residential repaints, renovations and new builds we carefully assess every element of the space while putting your thoughts and ideas at the forefront of every decision.
Traditionally, most of our work is residential with a focus on our expertise in paint finishes. We can also provide advice on a wide range of other finishes from wallpaper, tiles, benchtops, to flooring and carpets to ensure a cohesive scheme flows through your home.
If you are looking for a fresh coat of paint we can help you choose beautiful colours to tie in with your existing fixtures and features, furniture and artwork. If you need a scheme that will also perform when you come to sell your home, we can do that too.

Some customers feel overwhelmed by endless possibilities and are looking for the inspiration and confidence to try something new, or maybe are just unsure where to start. Jan Searle
Jan was born in England and has always had a real passion for colour and styling. She spent many years decorating her own homes and helping friends and family.
After Jan and her family moved to Australia she completed a Creative Visual Arts Diploma in Colour Design which supported her natural talent and enabled her to become a paint colour expert for a boutique paint company.
She still works in the paint industry and creates bespoke colours for her customers. She keeps up to date with the latest trends and technologies and works alongside architects and interior designers to recommend the right paint and wallpaper solution for their clients.
She created Urban Colour in 2011 when she identified a need for a personal consultancy service and as a colour advocate she has been fortunate to work with many residential clients and developers where she uses her knowledge and experience to create beautiful and desirable colour schemes.
Our Service
We offer a specialist colour consultation service where we deliver expert advice to create a unique and personalised colour scheme that is tailored to you, your property, and your lifestyle. We provide guidance in the comfort of your own home and we will bring a variety of paint colour samples to you.
We can meet onsite for new builds or renovations and we can design colour schemes from architectural plans. For clients in remote areas we also offer an online service where we can give advice from photos and plans.
We will listen to your ideas and ask the right questions to establish the look and feel that you wish to achieve. We consider the style of the building, neighbouring properties, existing features, influence of light, current trends and psychology of colour to give advice to suit you.

Interior Colour Consultation
Duration 1.5 hours
Fixed Price $290
On-site service includes paint colour choices for walls, doors, ceilings and trims for a maximum of 5 rooms/areas.
We provide comprehensive details of your colour scheme, including Colour Samples and Colour Specification showing all colours and paint finishes.
Please contact us to arrange a personalised colour consultation and we will help make the process of transforming your home a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Additional on-site consultations are $100 per hour.
Exterior Colour Consultation
Duration 1.5 hours
Fixed Price $290
On-site service includes paint colour choices for the exterior façade, including roof, eaves and trim.
We provide comprehensive details of your colour scheme, including Colour Samples and Colour Specification showing all colours and paint finishes.
Additional on-site consultations are $100 per hour.

Duration 2.5 hours
Fixed Price $420
On-site service includes paint colour choices for interior walls, doors, ceilings and trims for a maximum of 5 rooms/areas and the exterior façade, including roof, eaves and trim.
We provide comprehensive details of your colour scheme, including Colour Samples and Colour Specification showing all colours and paint finishes.
Additional on-site consultations are $100 per hour.
Online Consulting Service
Variable Price $150 to $450
This online service can include paint colour choices for interior walls, doors, ceilings and trims and the exterior façade, including roof, eaves and trim where we work from photos and plans.
We provide comprehensive details of your colour scheme, including Colour Samples and Colour Specification showing all colours and paint finishes.
